Two of Philly's brightest stars, comedian Kevin Hart and Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper, walked away with MTV Movie Awards Sunday night and gave acceptance speeches that left a lasting impression on viewers.

Hart, for his part, took home the Comedic Genius award, but what he said upon receiving the award was more heartwarming than gut busting. Hart's children, 10-year-old daughter Heaven and son Hendrix, 7, joined him onstage.

"My kids. I'm doing all of this for them. I'm trying to leave a legacy for them," Hart said. He thanked his current fiancee for her support as well as thanking his ex-wife Torrei Hart "for giving me these two kids."

Cooper was recognized for his role in "American Sniper," the winter blockbuster about U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. Cooper acknowledged Kyle's recently passed birthday before a heartfelt ending, saying, "Chris, this is for you."

Cooper won his MTV Movie Award, a popcorn box filled with golden popcorn, for Best Male Performance, beating Chris Pratt for "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Miles Teller for "Whiplash," among others.
