Donald Trump has ‘never been a fan’ of Bill Cosby, thinks he’s ‘weird’

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has apparently "never been a fan" of embattled comedian Bill Cosby's, recently telling the Hollywood Reporter that the Philadelphia native is "weird."

"His humor was always, like, slow and stupid to me," Trump said of Cosby. "I never saw it. I think he's weird. And I never found his humor good at all. Just sit in a chair, talk very slowly?"

It's not just the comedy, though, that turns Cosby off from Trump. But it also isn't the dozens of sexual assault allegations the comedian faces, either. Rather, Trump had "one bad experience" with him:

I've never been a fan. I had one bad experience with him. I was on Letterman, and he was following me on the show. He said, "Oh, I want to buy you a suit." It was nice, he bought me a suit. And then he was on [the Today show], and my name was mentioned, and he went absolutely crazy. And I said, "What the hell was that all about?" I was never a fan.

As far as the alleged sexual assaults, Trump said Cosby's behavior "amazes" him because "he was so quiet" prior to his damning 2005 deposition:

And then he's obviously got this stuff. What amazes me is he was so quiet and then you see these depositions. What was he doing? Was he drunk? You see he admitted all this stuff on top of everything else.

Revoking Cosby's Medal of Freedom, meanwhile, doesn't appear to be of concern to Trump, who says other events ought to be our priority.

"I think that we have bigger problems in this country," he said. Previously, Trump told WABC that the medal ought to be revoked.

Cosby, for his part, has never been charged with a crime in connection with the sexual assault allegations against him. He is scheduled to give a new deposition on Oct. 9 as part of a lawsuit filed by accuser Judy Huth.
