Wayne native and Broad City co-creator Abbi Jacobson appeared alongside pal Ilana Glazer on Spike's Lip Sync Battle last night, and the takeaway is this: Shame on those judges.

The battle kicked off with Jacobson performing an inspired version of Digital Underground's "The Humpty Dance" against Glazer's choice of "Hey Ya" by Outkast. Both, of course, are excellent karaoke picks — though, "Hey Ya" can run a little long.

While Glazer's frenetic, bouncy style matched her track perfectly, Jacobson's subdued, expertly choreographed performance really showed off her own version of the Humpty Dance. So, in that sense, we were all winners there.

The second round saw Jacobson put her version of the Dreamgirls' classic "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" agains Glazer's take on "It's Raining Men," and this one was a little less close.

Glazer's "It's Raining Men," on the other hand, was a more quaint of the two, complete with backup dancers and energetic choreography. However, that choreography also lessened Glazer's actual lip syncing.

Still, though, Jacobson lost officially, if only by a hair. But it doesn't look that way to us.

And, hey, at least some good came out of it:
