Abbi Jacobson responds to ‘Broad City’ Emmy snub

Philly might be representing at the 67th annual Emmy awards, but Wayne’s Abbi Jacobson won’t be part of that group, seeing as the brilliant Broad City wasn’t nominated. For anything.

Philly might be representing at the 67th annual Emmy awards, but Wayne's Abbi Jacobson won't be part of that group, seeing as the brilliant Broad City wasn't nominated. For anything.

But Jacobson doesn't seem all that upset, having weighed in on the situation with a fantastic callback to the show the Television Academy forgot:

The reference, of course, is from Broad City's Season Two episode "Knockoffs," in which Jacobson's character experiences "pegging" for the very first time — and with her neighbor and crush, Jeremy. Unfortunately, she just ends up ruining the guy's dildo in a dishwasher.

Jacobson isn't the only Philly-area celeb to get snubbed at the Emmys this year, though. Neither Empire nor Terrence Howard nabbed any nominations, despite Taraji P. Henson's snagging a nom for her role on the show.

In that case, creator Lee Daniels' expletive-laden response wasn't as kind as Jacobson's reaction to her own snub. But it was just as funny:
