Northern Liberties’ favorite whiskey bar is celebrating a man that put Tennessee, and whiskey, on the map. On Thursday, Trestle Inn will be hosting a birthday party for 163-year old Jack Daniels.

This Daniel’s birthday bash is paring up with PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) for an evening of cocktails, contests and charity. Back in the early spring, Trestle hosted the Bourbon Battle that helped raise $1,000 for the local animal organization. Following the great success of the first event, they thought they would give it another go!

The $15 advance tickets (or $20 at the door) gets guests two complimentary Jack Daniel’s cocktails, a $5 donation that goes to PAWS and a Happy Birthday cupcake. Adoption dogs and PAWS representatives will be present, and guests can interact and learn more about the organization – maybe even take a new friend home!

Before Thursday, you can participate in the “Just Like Jack” mustache contest. Upload your best mustache picture to Instagram with the hashtag #justlikejack. Wear your ‘stache to the party and you could win some pretty cool prizes.

Thursday, September 5, 6 - 9 pm
The Trestle Inn, 339 N. 11th St
