Over 500 hungry Philadelphians swarmed The Piazza at Schmidts Saturday for the first annual Philly Vendy Awards.

Gigi and Big R Caribbean/American Soul Food took home the coveted Vendy Cup.

Sweet Box won Best Dessert, and The Peoples Taste Award went to Cucina Zapata.

Judges included Jennifer Carroll, Brian McManus, Drew Lazor, Michael Solomonov, Lindsay Lidge, and Jamie Shanker.
