#PhillyFive Things to Do: Sept. 25, 2014

Just a snippet of what’s going on today.

Just a snippet of what's going on today.

For some friendly competition: Bored board game fanatics, look no further. This group is meeting on the second floor of Zento (132 Chestnut St.) at 7 p.m. for some open play and drinks.

For a spiritual happy hour: Get your Tarot cards read, sip on some vino and enjoy desserts at Crossing Vineyards and Winery (1853 Wrightstown Rd., Washington Crossing) at 7 p.m.

For a Shakespeare classic: "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" alum, Joseph Marcell, stars as King Lear in the Shakespeare drama about the king who divides his kingdom amongst his daughters. Curtains are at 7:30 p.m. at the Annenberg Center's Zellerbach Theatre (3680 Walnut St.)

For a one-time-only exhibit: 20 Philly artists, ranging from street artists to portrait painters, were tasked with the mission of transforming a canvas-covered Red Bull cooler into a work of art. See their finished works at Arch Enemy Arts (109 Arch St.) from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight. Attendees can cast their vote for their favorite cooler at this blink-and-you-miss-it affair.

For legend: One half of Hall and Oates, John Oates, performs a solo, acoustic show, ridden with anectodes from years on the road tonight at 8 p.m. at the Sellersville Theater (24 W. Temple Ave., Sellersville).
