For movie night: As a part of Newtown Theatre's (120 N. State St.) October Thrills and Chills series, "Ghostbusters" will screen at 7 p.m. Who ya gonna call?

For a fundraiser: As Breast Cancer Awareness month comes to a close, spend an evening at the last Boobie Bingo Night at The Irish Pol (45 S. 3rd St.), starting at 8 p.m. All of the proceeds benefit the Ellen Stein Jacoby Fund of Fox Chase Cancer Center.

For educational entertainment: Actor, director and author Harry Shearer will make an appearance at World Café Live (3025 Walnut St.) at 8 p.m. tonight to discuss his UK television show "Nixon's The One" in which he recreates actual White House conversations from the Nixon administration.
