A Ramone and a movie? It’s so good.

A Ramone and a movie? It's so good.

For boozy art: Channel your best Picasso (or Van Gogh or Monet or Cezanne…) whilst sampling Crossing Vineyards (1853 Wrightstown Rd., Washington Crossing, Pa.) wines during a 6:30 p.m. painting class. Bring your pals, leave your own stash at home — alcoholic and otherwise — and paint on.

For sonic history: Former drummer of The Ramones, Marky Ramone will stop by the Free Library of Philadelphia's Central Branch (1901 Vine St.) to chat with Inquirer music critic Dan Deluca and to sign copies of his memoir "Punk Rock Blitzkrieg" at 7:30 p.m.

For movie night: The Academy of Natural Sciences presents Mega-Bad Movie Night featuring sci-fi flick "Them!" — you know, the one about the man-eating ants — and real-life scientists to dispel the film's scientific inconsistencies. Come to the Bryn Mawr Film Institute (824 Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr, Pa.) at 7 p.m. to see some live bugs from the ANSP, score your free Yards beer (if you're of age) and popcorn and settle into the film at 8 p.m.

For Whovians: Get ready. Get set. Trivia! Three rounds of "Dr. Who"-themed trivia touches down at the Victoria Freehouse (10 S. Front St.) at 8 p.m. tonight. During the competition, enjoy specials like $8 Sex in the Tardis (vodka, Curacao, orange juice), $7 Sonic Screwdrivers (vodka, peach liquor, cranberry, orange juice), $7 Skaro Shandy (bramble liquor, lemon, lager) and $8 Terileptus Sunrise (tequila, tang, Curacao, grenadine). Solid food includes blue velvet Tardis cupcakes and fish fingers and custard.

For magic: A selection of illusionists, stunt performers and magicians take to the stage at Harrah's (777 Harrah's Blvd., Atlantic City, N.J.) for Masters of Illusion Live, beginning at 8 p.m.
