Look what we got for you!

Look what we got for you!

For breakfast: To round out the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival is a Sunday morning pancake breakfast at the New Hope-Solebury High School (180 W. Bridge St., New Hope, Pa.). Running from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. menu items include not only flapjacks, but eggs, French toast, sausage and drinks. Oh, and this is an all-you-can-eat event.

For meat: Learn the proper pig butchering techniques at this three-hour class, beginning at noon at The Farm and Fisherman (1120 Pine St.). Following the class, gorge on a five-course meal utilizing all the prepared meat from the class. Yum.

For families: The Cat's Pajamas put on an interactive show of music, dance, puppetry — all in the name of spreading a good message. Catch them at the Free Library of Philadelphia Central Branch (1901 Vine St.) at 2 p.m.

For a musical score: The second in a three-performance residency at the Penn Museum (3260 South St.) comes in the form of musical ensemble Relache's live accompaniment to the 1918 silent film "Eyes of the Mummy." The newly composed score will be played starting at 3 p.m.

For a blast from the past: Relive the early days of MTV — you know, when they actually played videos — with a dance performance from Steel River Playhouse's (245 E. High St., Pottstown, Pa.) resident troupe Mélange Contemporary Dance as they pay their respects to the music of Dire Straits, Blondie, AC/DC and more, incorporating the videos of said artists in the contemporary performance. "I Want My MTV: The Sound of a Generation" begins at 3 p.m. today.
