Hey! No Hurry! 4 Philly Christmas traditions that can wait

So much to do. So little you! But relax. All of these merry Christmas traditions extend past Christmas Day.

Feel free to devote your pre-Christmas hours to last-minute shopping, gift wrapping and reconnecting with old friends who are briefly back in town.

The Nutcracker, the Macy's Light Show, the Comcast Light Show and Christmas Village all keep the lights on for at least a couple days after Dec. 25.

Post-Christmas, eight shows remain in the Pennsylvania Ballet's 2015 opulent production, featuring the battle with the Mouse King, fabulous dancing and that miraculous Tchaikovsky music.

Macy's Light Show
Philly kids continue to "thrill to a sleigh ride in the sky" from their seats on the floor of the Wanamaker Building's Grand Court. But only until the afternoon of New Year's Eve. The final show is at 4 p.m. that day.

Macy's, 1300 Market St., 10 a.m.-closing through Dec. 31 with shows every two hours on the hour, free, 215-241-9000.

Comcast Light Show
Your annual chance to say something nice about Comcast continues. But only until Jan. 3.

Comcast Center, 1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd., 15-minute shows at the top of the hour from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily through Jan. 3 (no 5 p.m. show weekdays), free.

Christmas Village
Center City's German-influenced cluster of cozy shops and wassail vendors continues to occupy LOVE Park until the end of this weekend.
