Have some lounge hits with your happy hour at the Trestle Inn

The Trestle Inn (11th and Callowhill Streets) feels it needs to give credit where credit is due — and that’s to '60s lounge legends.

The Trestle Inn (11th and Callowhill Streets) feels it needs to give credit where credit is due — and that's to '60s lounge legends. The home of Whiskey and Go-Go tips its hat to Grammy-winning Burt Bacharach with its Back to Bacharach Week, Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Saturday, Oct. 18.

Throughout the event's duration, relish in a themed drink offering — Promises, Promises cocktail — from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Titled after the Bacharach-composed musical of the same name, the drink is made with W.L. Weller Special Reserve Bourbon.

Sip your cocktail and kick up your feet for movie night on Wednesday, Oct. 15. The 1965 classic "What's New Pussycat?" (wo-oa-ah) screens from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. with cocktails, $6 Kitchen Sink shot and can specials, and $1 popcorn.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, enjoy complimentary tastings of W.L. Weller Special Reserve Bourbon during the weekly Spirit of Thursday samplings and cocktail specials made with the spirit. (Yup, this stuff happens every week.)

Swing over to Spring Garden after work on Friday, Oct. 17 for happy hour, starting at 6 p.m. Go-go extraordinaire Ivy Aurora will set the scene for three hours of '60s lounge hits from Dusty Springfield to Dionne Warwick to Tom Jones. Grab a drink while you're at it: Trestle's new drafts this week include Neshaminy Creek Punkless Dunkel Pumpkin, Flying Dog Woody Creek Wheat, and Sixpoint The Crisp Pilsner.
