Oh happy day!

Oh happy day!

For an extraterrestrial symposium: The UFOlogy and Science Media Conference explores media coverage of UFOs with panels running from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ.

For a family fun day: The African American Museum in Philadelphia is holding a day's worth of activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in honor of local heroes with a scavenger hunt, photo collage, storytelling, music and more at the museum in Old City.

For hungry passersby: A number of vendors will sell everything from ribs to kabobs and sundaes to gelato sandwiches on Filbert Street outside of Reading Terminal Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Sidewalk Sizzle and Ice Cream Freeze. Throughout the day there'll be ice cream eating contests, ice cream shuffleboard and kids arts and crafts.

For a colorful festival: Back for the second year is Wallingford, PA's Tie-Dye Music Festival. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., attendees can tie-dye their own items (or purchase shirts, onesies or aprons), listen to local bands and eat yummy foods at the Community Arts Center.

For an ultimate sporting event: The Major League Ultimate Frisbee Championships are tonight at 6:30 p.m. at PPL Park in Chester, PA. Be there as the Vancouver Nighthawks take on the Washington DC Current for this high-octane Frisbee event.
