For a second Sunday: Family friendly activities are held at the National Museum of American Jewish History during their Second Sunday event, taking place at the Old City museum from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For a fuzzy afternoon: The guest of honor at this tea party is your child's favorite teddy bear. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., kids can enjoy lunch and tea with their stuffed animal or doll at the Carriage House Café and Tearoom at the Physick Estate in Cape May, NJ.

For fido: Along Germantown Avenue from Hartwell to Evergreen in Chestnut Hill, various pet-centric activities, food and vendors will be taking part in the Dog Days of Summer from noon until 4 p.m.

For a cultural tradition: Take part in an ancient Japanese ritual—the traditional tea ceremony. There are two sittings today at Shofuso Japanese House and Garden in West Fairmount Park, 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

For a winery party: Every Saturday and Sunday in July at Chaddsford Winery in Chadds Ford, PA sample five different types of Sangria from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
