Five things to do today – comedy, sports apparel sale, shrimp broil

For some laughs: Jim Gaffigan brings his standup act to Atlantic City's Borgata for two shows tonight, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Don't come hungry — the comic had previously and unknowingly predicted a future Dunkin Donuts menu item and frequently discusses American eating habits.

For a garden show: The second in Longwood Gardens' fireworks and fountains show is tonight at 9:15 p.m. in Kennett Square, Pa. Watch as the garden's fountains shoot in synchronization with the light show in the sky set to music.
