The tea ceremony will be led by Urasenke Philadelphia, a nonprofit tea school that promotes awareness of the Japanese Tea Ceremony in the city and surrounding regions.Participants will learn about the history and principles of the tea ceremony, indulge in some sweets and have a chance to drink a bowl of matcha, a type of powdered green tea native to Japan.
