CONCACAF Champions League: León held by Herediano, Pachuca blows out Municipal

We almost got an almighty upset in the first game of Wednesday night's CONCACAF Champions League doubleheader. Herediano was two minutes (plus stoppage time) away from stunning Mexico's Club León on its own field, but Mauro Boselli rescused the home team with an 89th-minute equalizer.

In the nightcap, Carlos Ruiz - yes, there he was again - gave Municipal an early lead against another Mexican club, Pachuca, in Guatemala City. But the four-time CONCACAF kings struck back with a vengeance, scoring four straight goals en route to a 7-3 final score.

Here are the highlights.

Club León: Mauro Boselli 89'
Herediano: Francisco Calvo 65'
