CBA negotiations resonate across Major League Soccer
On Tuesday night, I hosted a roundtable discussion on Backheel.com about the collective bargaining negotiations between Major League Soccer and the MLS Players Union. The very real threat of a player strike looms large over the countdown to the start of MLS' 20th season.
I had four guests on the show, all of whom are among the top voices analyzing MLS across North America:
- Duane Rollins, Toronto-based managing editor of Canadian Soccer News and co-host of the Two Solitudes Podcast
- Simon Fudge, Vancouver-based writer for Goal Canada and co-host of Soccer Talk on CISL 650-AM
- Matt Pentz, Seattle Sounders beat writer for the Seattle Times
- Paul Tenorio, Orlando City beat writer for the Orlando Sentinel
You can listen to the show below. I hope you find it informative and that it helps explain some of the major issues at stake in the CBA talks.
