Ring of Honor television report (10/07/15): Field of Honor

Although the temperature outside is slowly dipping and the leaves are beginning to change colors, Ring of Honor is still airing matches from August on its weekly television program.

After showing matches from the promotion's stop in Philadelphia back on Aug. 21 for the last month, Ring of Honor is finally out of content from that night and is now on to airing content from its Field of Honor event in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The only problem is that the event took place Aug. 22. Well after month and a pay-per-view later, those of us that weren't in attendance at MCU Park on that hot and humid night are finally getting to see these matches.

As usual, the matches are very good, but it's weird to see them all these weeks later. I know TNA Wrestling does the same thing, but it is just as weird when they do it, too. A week or two is one thing, but an entire season ago is completely different.

When that event occurred, NFL teams were still in training camp. We're now about to begin Week 5.

Like I said earlier the wrestling was great, though. IWGP Heavyweight champion Kazuchika Okada and Roderick Strong had an epic main event, despite it not furthering any stories moving forward.

Also, Watanabe won a gauntlet match to earn a shot at the ROH World Television championship at some point.

With that said, here are the full match results.

- The Briscoes def. Time Splitters

- Watanabe def. Cedric Alexander

- Kazuchika Okada def. Roderick Strong
