Jay Briscoe cleared to wrestle again

Former Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion Jay Briscoe has been cleared to wrestle again, according to a photo he sent out on his Twitter account.

Briscoe won the title during April 5, but suffered a severe shoulder injury a couple months later. He was stripped of the title July 3.

At Death Before Dishonor Sept. 20, Briscoe was forced to hand over the title belt to new champion Adam Cole.

ROH recently put out a video of Briscoe saying that he needed clearance from a doctor to actually get back in the ring again. All he needed apparently was clearance in the form of a doctor’s note.

Well, he got one and he put it on Twitter for everyone to see. ROH put out a story on its web site saying that Briscoe’s return has not yet been made official.
