WWE superstar Dean Ambrose will star in a WWE Studios and Lionsgate action film titled, “Lockdown,” according to a report from Variety.com.

WWE superstar Dean Ambrose will star in a WWE Studios and Lionsgate action film titled, “Lockdown,” according to a report from Variety.com.

Ambrose (real name Jonathon Good) will headline the film, which will be directed by Stephen Reynolds, who directed “Tomb Raider: Ascension.” Variety reports that production on the film will begin this month.

The film was written by Nathan Brooks and Bobby Lee Darby and will be about “a police officer who finds himself trapped inside his own precinct and hunted after crooked cops stop at nothing to recover incriminating evidence of illegal activities against those closest to him.”
