Want a building on the Avenue of the Arts?

A vacant building across from the Kimmel Center is up for grabs.

A vacant building across Broad Street from the Kimmel Center, owned by music moguls Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, is now up for lease.

It's across the alley from the duo's fire-damaged Philadelphia International Records building at 311 S. Broad St. and years ago was known as the Regency Ballroom.

Real estate agent Peter Paris says Gamble and Huff for many years had rejected developers' entreaties, but recently decided to offer it, in hopes that a chain restaurant or hospitality entrepreneur would be interested.
