Tommy Jordan, in a WPST publicity still.

Saying it wants to go in a new direction, Nassau Broadcasting has shown the door to morning man Tommy Jordan, who'd been with Trenton hit-music station WPST (94.5) for more than 15 years.

Jordan did not return my call for comment, but Dave McKay, the station's assistant program director, said 'PST decided to focus the morning show around femme voice Chris Rollins. It has been repositioned as Chris & the Crew.

Wow. PST has really become bad. Why would ANYONE want to focus ANYTHING around Chris Rollins? I can't remember the last time I heard a more annoying voice on the radio! WPST used to be absolutely my favorite CHR in the country! Good luck, Tommy.

I'm going in a new direction too, maybe to MMR or YSP.

PST continues to spiral out of control! Mornings just aren't the same without Tommy Jordan. I find it interesting that Dave McKay is now an on-air personality. Hmmmm, maybe Tommy should take that knife out of his back before someone decides to twist it!

That explains why the show has gotten so bad. I was a devoted listener. Not anymore. It hurts to listen to the morning crew ... absolutely awful. Good luck with that move. I guess I'm going to listen to WPLJ out of NY

What a big mistake! Tommy Jordan is the best, listening to Chris go on about her life bores me to death. Tommy kept it real. I continued to listen because I was waiting for Tommy to return. Last time Tommy was on the air he was leaving to do his walk on. (Why do you think he beat out the other DJ's becasue of Chris? no way). I know he goes to Phillies camp so I thought that maybe that was why he was gone so long. When I finally realized that the morning had changed and it appeared that Chris took over I googled only to find out that my suspiscions were right. Too bad for WPST, I'm another loyal listener gone. Tommy was the reason that I tolerated Chris's annoying voice. Good Bye Wpst, Best of Luck Tommy! Hope to hear you on the air in Philly!

What a mistake!! I can't take it anymore. I finally called Dave McKay today to leave feedback on how bad the morning show is without Tommy. Chris can NOT carry that show! Good Luck Tommy...PS Listened to Wrxp this morning. Matt Pinfield is great!

I personally believe the show was better with him and believe that he was let go because Chris is a Diva and wants the morning show to be all about her. All the co-host seem to leave, yet Chris is still there. Shame, Shame. I'm done with the morning show. Much luck to you Tommy on your future endeavors.

That stinks!!!!!!!!!!! i thought tommy was the best one on the show! Chris is ok, but it gets tiring listening to her talk about her kids all the time and she thinks her opinion is always right about every topic they discuss. Too bad Tommy - I think I'm moving on too - to another station.

What a mistake. Tommy was the show. Can't stand hearing every minute about Chris kids and that voice can break windows. Moving on.
