The Hong Kong-style duck house on 10th Street, which opened at the end of 1999 and won two bells from Craig LaBan three years ago, is planning to close at the end of October, according to employees.

Please note that It is still business as usual for the next month at Ting Wong - you get comp hot tea in clear drinking glasses, brisk but curt service, and a check for two people that seldom exceeds 12 bucks.

Update: The restaurant will close to remodel, rather than close permanently.
