Stove & Tap coming to Lansdale

A Starr alum is backing a family-friendly American pub dressed in light woods.

The former Molly Maguire's at Main and Wood Streets in Lansdale is getting new life.

By March, former Starr lieutenant Justin Weathers and his business partner, Matt Moyer, hope to open Stove & Tap (329 W. Main St.), which they're positioning as a family-friendly American pub dressed in light woods.

Weathers says The Dandelion, which was among the restaurants he managed, is inspiring what he says will be "classic vintage look" that will be a good fit to Lansdale's small-town-America-main-street feel.

Weathers and Moyer are installing a wood-fired grill for chef Benjamin "Biff" Gottehrer, who was a sous chef at The Dandelion, El Vez, and JG Domestic. They're planning an approachable menu including classic American dishes, Italian American pastas, rustic flatbreads, and bold, smoked foods. Only American wine and microbrews will be offered.
