Rooster Soup Co. makes Food & Wine's best new restaurant list

Food & Wine editor Nilou Motamed called chef Erin O'Shea's menu "accessible, delicious, and impressively resourceful—rooted in upcycled food waste, no less—and the project shows how food and philanthropy can walk hand-in-hand."

Two weeks after GQ named Rooster Soup Co. to its list of best new restaurants in America, Food & Wine did the same.

The food mag says it embarked on a six-month, 45,000-mile journey in 20 cities to cull its list, which includes New York's Le Coucou, the Stephen Starr/chef Daniel Rose joint that just won the James Beard Award for best new restaurant in America. (See F&W's list here.)
