Robeks gets its juice and smoothies on
The first location, at 11th and Chestnut Streets, is due to be followed by three dozen more in the area.
Today (9/22) is the Philadelphia debut of the brick-and-mortar location of Robeks, the L.A.-rooted, made-to-order smoothie/fresh juice company.
It's at 1035 Chestnut St., just off the corner of 11th and Chestnut Streets, next to a Taco Bell (for dietary balance).
Regional director Kimberly Berger expects to open 37 of these units around the region.
Robeks began entered the area in July as a food truck to build a following. It's now in the vendor mix at LOVE Park and City Hall for breakfast and lunch.
Store hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the weekends. Robeks offers a discount to Jefferson University staff and students.
