Restaurant notes: Name change
Chip Roman and Jason Cichonski are going a different way with their Chestnut Hill restaurant.
Chef-restaurateur Chip Roman says he and chef Jason Cichonski have changed the name of their restaurant project under construction in Chestnut Hill, which had been called Stone House.
After checking with the state, they have elected to go a different route.
It will be called Mica, as in the stone flakes that light up the sidewalks in that part of town.
Projected opening at 8609 Germantown Ave. is March 7-ish.
