'Restaurant Impossible' goes to Bucks

The Food Network show heads to Mamma D's in Pipersville.

In the latest installment of Restaurant Impossible, fixer-upper chef Robert Irvine heads to Pipersville, Bucks County, and Mamma D's. (I keep hearing "Momma Dietz" from the Dietz & Watson radio commercials every time I say that.)

The Food Network description bills Mamma D's as "a place that is part restaurant, part vineyard and mostly petting zoo. Owners Luigi and Liz Desiato are all over the place with ideas - they have a vineyard, a farm stand, a wine store, a petting zoo and, of course, the restaurant. Robert is confused by what he sees and can't get over the smell, the animals and the clutter everywhere. Could this mission prove to be too much for Robert?"

Well, of course it's not too much for Robert. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a show.

The episode premieres at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 on the Food Network.
