Remake the Ideal commercial jingle
"If you've got a passion for fashion..."
The Hammonton clothing company Ideal Fashions, whose iconic ad jingle has been around for decades, has launched a contest for new lyrics.
Five hundreds bucks is the prize.
The new lyrics must include two lines from the original jingle – "Passion for Fashion" and "Craving for Saving."
(The entire lyric goes like this: "If you've got a passion for fashion and you've got a craving for saving, take the wheel of your automobile and swing on down to Ideal.")
Deadline for 30 and 60-second submissions is Jan. 15, and contest rules can be found at www.bluewirepromotions.com. Entries can be submitted via email idealjingle@gmail.com or addressed to Ideal Jingle Contest, 483 N. White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
Entries will be judged by Ideal president Caitlin R. Fazzio and five other Ideal managers and executives, collaborating with Tara Smith of Comcast Spotlight and producer Steve Acito.
Established in 1936 as a coat manufacturing firm, Ideal operates out of two Quonset huts on White Horse Pike. There is now a second retail outlet in Sea Isle City and a third soon to open, in Washington Township.
