Le Chéri is open for lunch

After about five months, Le Chéri - Pierre and Charlotte Calmels' French destination at the Art Alliance on Rittenhouse Square - has opened for lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Pierre Calmels is offering a somewhat tighter version of his bistro-style dinner menu. You can get a salad Nicoise in two sizes, too. Alas, the quenelles are limited to the dinner menu, but you do have the cream-cheese ravioli and the Georges Perrier crab cake (oui, Pierre was chef at Le Bec-Fin).
