Spread importing Katz's hot pastrami

Have your own private "When Harry Met Sally" moment.

Pastrami from Katz's Deli?

Yes, yessss, yessssssssss.

Spread Bagelry (262 S. 20th St.) has been promising pastrami from the New York landmark, and it's making good on it starting Dec. 7.

Owner Larry Rosenblum says it will be imported by couriers, fully smoked and seasoned, to be cooked off in his wood oven each morning. It will be ready to eat starting about 11 a.m. and served while supplies last on rye bagels.

The sandwich with deli mustard will be $10, or $11 as a "special."
