Kitchen Kapers is sponsoring a Thanksgiving stuffing competition aimed at men.
The stores are inviting men 18 or older, who are amateur cooks, to submit their favorite Thanksgiving stuffing recipe into a Thanksgiving stuffing competition.
Send the name of the dish, list of ingredients for eight servings, and directions, along with your name, e-mail address and telephone number to stuffingrecipes@kitchenkapers.com.
Deadline for entry is Oct. 30.
Five finalists will be selected by a regional chef to participate in two ways:
For the Philly.com/food People's Choice Award, the five finalists' recipes and a photo of their stuffing will be posted on Philly.com/food for readers to select a favorite. Winner gets a $100 Kitchen Kapers gift certificate.
At the Kitchen Kapers finals – to be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. at the new Kitchen Kapers store, Marlton Square, 300 Route 73 South, Marlton, N.J. - the five finalists will bring their prepared Thanksgiving stuffing for a tasting by a panel of judges.
Grand prize is a collection of cutlery, cookware and countertop appliances from Kitchen Kapers, worth over $1,000, to further indulge your culinary passion. In addition, the winner's recipe will be posted on Philly.com/food.
Finalists will each receive a $50 Kitchen Kapers gift certificate.
