Heirloom in Chestnut Hill closes

The chef has relocated to SOUTH, the company's new restaurant at Broad and Mount Vernon Streets.

The quaint regional American BYOB shut down Sept. 20. Per a note on its website, the decision was "not easily made, as Heirloom has been the little special place of our company."

The company owns the nearby Paris Bistro and Green Soul in Chestnut Hill and recently opened SOUTH Kitchen & Jazz Parlor at 600 N. Broad St.

Heirloom chef Paul Martin has moved to SOUTH.

The site says any previously purchased gift cards will be honored at Paris Bistro, Green Soul, or SOUTH.
