Heart surgery forces temporary shutdown of 943

POSTED: Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 4:07 PM

The Argentinean-Italian BYOB 943 in the Italian Market is taking a breather while chef/owner Pascual "Pat" Cancelliere recovers from triple heart bypass surgery today.

Cancelliere, 44, felt queasy last week and sought medical attention, says an associate.

Docs urged bypass, saying a stent would not work.

The outgoing voicemail says the restaurant will be closed until further notice.

Thankful you live in today's world and in a city like Philly where what would have been major serious, today is a routine thing -- at least for the medical profession.
