Glenn Kalina returning to Philly radio

POSTED: Monday, December 8, 2008, 11:27 AM

Glenn Kalina, whose Philly resume reads like White's Radio Log, starts Jan. 5 as the morning host on NOW 97.5, owned by Greater Media.

Kalina likely won't keep his other day job: midday host on the Greater Media-owned WJRZ (100.1) in Manahawkin N.J. He's also assistant program director and specialty show host for Burlington County College's WBZC-FM.

Kalina's last Philly gig ended five years ago at Greater Media's WMWX (Mix 95.7). He also previously was heard on Alice 104.5, Q102, WCAU-FM and Wizzard 100.

NOW 97.5 is playing Christmas music and will return to its light-rock format after Christmas.
