Closing time: Floret in Radnor, Tequila Joe's in Center Square, Domenico's in Blue Bell
86-ing two short-lived operations in the suburbs.
Floret, which opened this spring in the stunning Main Line garden spot that previously housed Passerelle and Pond, has shut down, confirms owner Scott Morrison. It was a business decision.
Tequila Joe's on Skippack Pike in Center Square, which replaced a branch of Solaris Grille in March 2009, is closed. The Tequila Joe's in Oreland and the Solaris Grille in Chestnut Hill are unaffected.
Domenico's in Blue Bell has done an 86 after only seven months, owner Nicola Domenico confirms. From his flagship location in Ventnor, he said it just didn't work, given the size of the restaurant. (This is the former Blue Horse.) A sign on the door refers to a "vacation" and a reopening in "mid-July" after a "fix-up" and "new menu."
