First look at Con Murphy's

The bilevel pub is in the Windsor at 17th and the Parkway.

Breakfast or brunch around 17th and the Parkway ... ?

Con Murphy's, an Irish pub now open in the odd-shaped space at the Windsor that was the old Peacock on the Parkway, is serving the rooms upstairs, so owners Maurice Collins and Liam Kelly decided to serve the public from morning till late night, as well.

Starting this weekend (10/31), Con Murphy's is serving brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu is here.

Design and concept focus on Irish heritage, and the bilevel space includes a floor-to-ceiling mural of Irish sports, music, and culture. They're offering 12 beers on tap, plus a large selection of imported bottles and scotches. Collins and Kelly founded the nearby Tir na Nog.

Here's the all-day menu from chef Todd Butler. It's moderately priced and served from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays, 2 to 11 p.m. weekends. There's also a late-night bar menu (till 1 a.m.) for later in the week here.

Next week (11/5), breakfast (menu here) comes on line from 6:30 to 10 a.m. weekdays and 7 to 10 a.m. weekends.
