Evenchik working on jazz spot in Northern Liberties

Jason and Delphine Evenchik (Vintage Wine Bar, Time, Bar, Growler's) are moving forward with a jazz-theme restaurant at 914 N. Second St., which was Feast Your Eyes catering's location before it moved to larger quarters. It's also across from Cescaphe Ballroom and North Bowl.

Jason and Delphine Evenchik (Vintage Wine Bar, Time, Bar, Growler's, The Garage) are moving forward with a jazz-theme restaurant at 914 N. Second St., which was Feast Your Eyes catering's location before it moved to larger quarters. It's also across from Cescaphe Ballroom and North Bowl.

Jason Evenchik says the name is not final but he described the concept as a chef-driven restaurant (pan-European/American menu) with a solid craft beer, wine and whiskey selection (basically the high points of their other establishments). Sean Magee will be chef.

There'll be a roof garden, and they'll do outside seating in a garden in the lot next door.

He hopes to open in early 2014.
