El Poquito adding a Center City location

Word is that it will go into the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel.

El Poquito - the Chestnut Hill cantina/tequila bar that opened barely a year ago - is fixing to open a second location, and it will do so in Center City.

Though there's no official confirmation, sources pinpoint the location, to open in late fall or early winter, as the Radisson Blu Warwick's Tavern 17, on 17th Street near Locust. Tavern 17, managed by the hotel, is still very much open and has not announced a closing date.

The hotel is also subbing out its coffee bar. New York's Bluestone Lane, an Australian-themer, is two months or so from opening on the Locust Street side of the landmark hotel.

It's status quo, meanwhile, at the Prime Rib steakhouse.

El Poquito, a Craig LaBan two-beller, is fronted by Garces alums George Atterbury and chef Andrew Sabin.
