Restaurants typically have revolving doors on their kitchens, turning over chefs seemingly with the calendar.

Davio's, the Northern Italian steakhouse at 17th and Chestnut Streets, is interviewing for its third executive chef in its 13 years to replace David Boyle, who has left after 10½ years.
