Something's brewing in Conshohocken

In two months or so, Conshohocken Brewing Company will open along the Schuylkill River Bike Trail in Conshohocken, behind Bar Lucca at Elm and Hector Streets. Not only is there a 15 bbl steam-fired brewing system, there will be a tap room serving signature craft beer, ales and pilot beers. The brewery will feature two large roll-up doors leading to a deck just off of the bike path.

Bike a little, quaff a little.

Owners John Remington and Ken Buonocore, now building local distribution, have retained the services of Andrew Horne, who started his brewing career at Yards before migrating west to Avery and Oskar Blues. Sports talker Glen Macnow is an investor.

More information on beer styles, including year-round and seasonal offerings, will be available as the opening gets closer.

Conshy is one of several brewing operations about to come online, including Crime & Punishment in Brewerytown and Guild Hall Brewing Company in Jenkintown.
