Coeur in Bella Vista to close; it's up for sale
It appears that the partners - Brendan Hartranft, Leigh Maida, and Brendan Kelly, who also have interests in Memphis Taproom, Local 44, Strangelove's, and Clarkville - want a quick exit.
Sunday, Oct. 2 at midnight will be last call for Coeur, the Montreal-styled bar at 824 S. Eighth St. in Bella Vista.
Its first anniversary was two weeks ago.
Coeur, a Craig LaBan two-beller, followed The Mildred, which followed James, which followed Michael's.
Note: Mona Lisa Jackson, owner of the longtime lingerie shop Coeur (132 S. 17th St.), advises that her boutique is unrelated to the shuttered restaurant. So to keep this straight: The bar is closing, but the bra is still providing support for her and her family.
