Catelli Duo's Moorestown location is now up for Sept. opening
A summer of construction is on the way.
Catelli Duo, the Voorhees Italian restaurant that announced last October that it would take over for Osteria at Moorestown Mall, is now looking at a Sept. 12 opening.
Initial word - shortly before Urban Outfitters bought most of the Vetri restaurants - was that the transition was supposed to be relatively quick and easy.
But business decisions among the landlord, Vetri, and Catelli dictated that Catelli wait.
Catelli will add to Osteria's footprint by leasing about 3,600 square feet next door as private dining.
Catelli VP John Polizzi said the new location would be larger and more modern than the Voorhees location. It will have the same wine walls and similar feel. "You'll know you're in Catelli," he said.
