10 Arts' Jen Carroll to chair Taste of the Nation
The "Top Chef" finalist will lead a June fund-raiser.
Chef Jennifer Carroll, who got national attention as a finalist on Bravo's Top Chef, will be the honorary chair of this year's Share Our Strength Taste of the Nation culinary fund-raiser at the Loews Hotel on June 21.
The event draws a ballroom-load of local chefs.
Advance admission is $85 and it's $95 at the door -- or $40 more for a VIP admission that gets you an extra hour of feeding time. Tickets can be purchased through this link.
One-hundred percent of ticket sales support SOS's efforts to end childhood hunger. This year's beneficiaries include Philabundance, the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, the Food Trust, and the Pennsylvania Hunger Action Center.

Just six days before Taste of the Nation is the annual Marc Vetri-sponsored Great Chefs Event, which will draw dozens of world-famous chefs to Urban Outfitters at the Navy Yard.
