June 27: The Sixers in the year 2047

The idea that we'll all be dead by the time the Sixers are the team Sam Hinkie is trying to build is a popular little bit of humor on the internet. Barring atrocities, chances are, many of us will still be alive in the next 3-5 years. Hinkie, inarguably, is playing for the future. When you think "future" do you think "everything the same, but with smaller smart phones and more voice activation?" Or do you think "decrepit apartment buildings and people replaced by robots?"

That is where our story takes place.

So our point with this comic and some that may follow is that the robot uprising is coming sooner than anyone thinks.
