A full-service salon, complete with skin care services, and a range of cosmetic offerings are just a few of the attractions that will be available at the first Ulta location to hit Philadelphia.

By the numbers, the 3-floor, 13,647-square-foot beauty store located at 1619 Walnut St. will offer more than 20,000 beauty products from more than 500 brands. The new Ulta Beauty store is located in the former studio where the Mike Douglas Show was filmed.

There are currently 11 Ulta locations across the Greater Philadelphia region, and 550 spots across the country making Ulta the largest beauty retailer of its kind within the United States. Impressive, no?

Alex Lelli, Senior VP of Growth and Development at the retailer released this statement on Center City's new spot: “ULTA Beauty is thrilled to open a new, multi-level store in the heart of Philadelphia. We are proud to continue to serve our loyalists, introduce new customers to the brand, and to expand our footprint in the area.”

The Rittenhouse Square-based beauty destination will open Friday, May 31. Clients interested in a little mani, pedi, tweeze, cut, pluck, facial, or blowout should call 215-640-9602 to make an appointment at the salon.
