Justin Bieber and his 'Crazy Year!' cover Teen Vogue

Oh, teen girls and their heartthrobs.

Talk about seizing opportunity.

Teen Vogue, capitalizing on Justin Bieber and his Crazy Year!, announced the troubled, young heartthrob as its May cover star. Bieber- who's been the focus of numerous reports chronicling his volatile demeanor in the last year (most recently involving a dispute with his neighbor) - takes the opportunity to say this (courtesy of WWD):

"I don't need to address every speculation. Remember when Cam'ron dissed Jay-Z? Jay-Z didn't even respond. Why didn't he respond, because he's Jay-Z." Does that make us Cam'ron?"

The publication's best-selling cover in 2012 was the December Issue featuring British boy band One Direction. Teen Vogue, taking this as a queue for selling magazines to their target demo, has slapped the pop star on two separate covers of its May "Music Issue."

This is his second cover for Teen Vogue - the first was in October 2010 when the burgeoning Bieber was newly inducted and catapulted into the international pop arena. Sadly, accompanying the loss of the bangs was the pop star's squeaky clean image.

Oh, the bygone days of innocence.
