Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman produces son for Harvey Weinstein

Just what the doctor delivered: An heir to the Weinstein fortune.

Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, 37, is celebrating the birth of her son with husband Harvey Weinstein, 61, a spokeswoman for the couple confirmed to the Associated Press Monday.

Weinstein, a Hollywood hotshot and the co-chair of the Weinstein Co. is the Oscar-winning producer of films like "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Django Unchained."

Chapman, meanwhile is an accomplished fashion designer, whose gowns are considered a red carpet favorite by stars like Sofia Vergara, Rachel McAdams and Blake Lively.

The two wed in 2007.
