At Lord & Taylor Bala Cynwyd's upcoming FUNdraising Day, "Shop Chic and Make It Count," guests can give to charity while getting some perks of their own.

On Tuesday, Nov. 4, Lord & Taylor Bala Cynwyd (145 City Line Ave., Bala Cynwyd) is hosting its first FUNdraising Day, a full day of shopping, styling, music, pampering and savings. With 100 percent of the $5 ticket price going to support the 10 charities chosen for the event, attendees can give a little and save so much more.

The purpose of the FUNdraising Day is "to give back to our local community while saying thank you for supporting the store," said Lord & Taylor Bala Cynwyd Store Manager Christine Daly.

Some of the 10 charities involved in "Shop Chic and Make It Count" include the Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia, a group that aims to empower those affected by cancer through emotional support, education and a community atmosphere; the Jewish Relief Agency, which is designed to provide hunger relief programs to low-income families in the Philadelphia area; and the Junior League of Philadelphia, an organization dedicated to promoting female voluntarism.

From 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., attendees will get 25 percent off one item, a 15 percent off savings pass, and 10 percent off on cosmetics. Guests can also enjoy various promotions and activities including complimentary chair massages from Eviama Life Green Spa and Boutique; Young Rembrandt's art lessons for children; sessions with makeup artists from Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Clinique and more; and, of course, food and drinks.

Tickets to the all-day charity shopping event can be purchased at each of the participating charities, in-store on the day of the event, or by calling Aversa PR at 215-840-9216. For a full list of activities and charities involved in "Shop Chic and Make It Count," visit makeitcountphilly.com.
